Graduation is one of the few endings everyone agrees to celebrate. These verses are for the graduate: about the path ahead, asking for wisdom, and being an example while young. A couple of them are the ones you'd expect; the notes explain what they actually say.

The most common graduation verse, and worth knowing its setting: it was written to exiles who'd be in Babylon for seventy years. The 'hope and a future' were real but slow. That makes it a better graduation verse, not a worse one. The future comes, but it's a long game.
1 Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.

'Let no one despise your youth; but be an example.' Paul to a young leader who'd be doubted because of his age. It's the verse for a graduate walking into rooms where they're the youngest. The instruction isn't to demand respect but to earn it in five specific ways.
Joshua 1:9
Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.

Joshua, just promoted, told to be strong and courageous because God goes with him 'wherever you go.' A graduate is at the same kind of threshold: new responsibility, unfamiliar territory, and the same promise. The 'wherever' matters because Joshua was about to lead people into territory none of them had seen. The verse repeats 'be strong and courageous' three times in a few lines, which suggests God knew how a person feels at a threshold.
Philippians 1:6
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

'He who began a good work in you will complete it.' Graduation is a completion that's also a beginning. This verse says the deeper work in a person keeps going, and God finishes what he starts. Paul wrote this to a church he founded and loved, and he's confident about them because of God, not because of their track record. For a graduate, it's reassurance that the person you're becoming isn't finished, and isn't left to chance.
Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

'Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly.' If a graduate wanted one sentence to carry into a career, this is the one many people would choose. It's what God requires, stated plainly, with no degree needed. Micah delivers it after asking what God could possibly want, whether thousands of rams or rivers of oil, and the answer is disarmingly simple. Justice, mercy, humility. A career built on those three will outlast most of what a degree teaches.
Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.

'I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go.' For someone who's just finished being taught, a promise that instruction continues, from a teacher watching closely. The psalm is David's, written after a season of hiding a wrong and then owning it. The teaching he describes comes with 'my eye upon you,' which is a picture of attention, not surveillance. Someone is still watching how you go.
