'It is his glory to overlook an offense.' Overlooking isn't the same as being a doormat; it's choosing which battles are worth having. With a coworker who gives you daily small reasons to be offended, this proverb is practical: most of them can be let go, and letting them go is a strength.
James 1:19

Swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. In that order. With difficult people, the temptation is to reverse it. James writes this to a community with real conflicts, and the advice hasn't aged. The slowness is the skill.
Colossians 3:13
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

'Bearing with one another' is the phrase for tolerating ongoing friction. 'If any man has a complaint against any' assumes you will have one. The standard for forgiving is how Christ forgave you, which is a high bar, and Paul knew it.
Colossians 3:23-24
And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Ruling your own spirit is ranked above conquering a city. In a tense office, keeping your temper feels like the smaller achievement. The proverb says it's the bigger one. The verse pairs 'slow to anger' with 'rules his spirit,' the same skill seen from outside and inside. Nobody sees the emails you didn't send or the comeback you didn't make. Proverbs says those unseen victories are the bigger ones.
Pick one line, such as Proverbs 15:1, and use it as a rule for one week: every reply to that person gets the gentle version. Read Romans 12:14-21 in full once; it's the Bible's most complete guidance on dealing with people who treat you badly.
The most direct guidance is Romans 12:17-21: don't repay evil with evil, do what's honorable in everyone's sight, and be at peace as far as it depends on you. Proverbs adds a lot about controlling your reply (15:1, 19:11).
James 1:19 (slow to speak, slow to anger) and Proverbs 16:32 both apply directly. Colossians 3:23 is about doing your work well regardless of the people around you.
